Projects awarded in the X international Prizes Veteco/Asefave

In the second category (Prize to the Light Façade), has heaved with the galardón the project ‘House between medianeras Marries Guardiola-Babecka', in the neighbourhood of the Bridge of Vallecas of Madrid, of the architects Rafael Guridi and Cristina Tartás, of Guriditartás Architects. The third category, that corresponds to the Prize to the Performance in Rehabilitation, has recaído in the project ‘Centre of Resources for People with Disability', in Silleda (Pontevedra), of the architects Óscar Andrés Quintela, Iván Andrés Quintela and Lourdes Pérez Castro, of Arrokabe Architects SLP.
In the fourth category, Better Project End of Career with the Light Façade, the galardón has recaído in the project designated ‘Berlin Neu-Bahnhof Zooolgischer Garten' (Berlin), elaborated by Gonzalo of the Val, of the School of architecture of the European University of Madrid.
The tenth edition of the Prizes Veteco/Asefave has celebrated in some surroundings of changes for the sector of the closing glazed in our country. Nevertheless, the deep crisis of the construction has to have also his positive consequences so much for the manufacturers as for the technicians commissioned to design the new works. And these prizes want to reflect this moment of change, standing out once again the products, so much of windows as of light faã§ades, that bet by the quality, the design and, the, each more present day, concepts of energetic efficiency, sustainability and respect to the Environingingment.
Like novelty, to celebrate this edition has englobado the previous prize to the innovation in a more generic concept to which directs the sector, the rehabilitation. In a lot of occasions, are the cases of rehabilitation those that require greater quantity of innovation and technological effort so much in the manufacture as in the installation of the products. Of here the instauration of this category of prize.
Finally, the prizes Veteco/Asefave follow congregation to encourage between the futures prescriptores the interest for knowing the closing glazed and, again, have the category of prize to the best projects end of career.
Award them will deliver on 9 May, to the 18:30 hours, inside the International Living room of the Window and the Closing Glazed, Veteco 2012 (Room of Maquetas, Building of Offices of the Fair of Madrid). Likewise, the works concursantes will expose in the fair, between the 8 and on 11 May 2012.
