Cortizo presents two innovative facade systems
June 22, 2009
The facade intercalaria has a 52 mm internal view section both the amount and the crossbar, while the external aesthetics is 'only seen glass' with opaque area. This system introduces the novelty of the glazing through the coupling of two profiles of aluminium, one solidarity to the supporting structure and other fixed with silicone enclosed in the glass house intercalary. This gives an extra security to the light facade, that, in the event of breakage of the glass, eliminates any possibility of retinal detachment.
Its capacity of glazing reaches the 150 kilos per hole and glass recommended for the facade intercalaria is of temperate outer Moon or solar control with possibility of cameras of 12, 14, 16 or 18 mm glass and interior from 4 to 12 mm glass thickness. You have possibility to integrate proyectantes hidden openings in the same facade.
For its part, the new modular facade has 52 mm internal view section and a scheme of 'only seen glass' version of structural aesthetics, which gives it a great essential slenderness for avant-garde buildings in height. In his version of semi-structural aesthetics, the foreign eye section of aluminium would be 70 mm as another possibility of configuration for the designer.
