The Prizes Veteco/Asefave present his eleventh edition in some surroundings of changes and opportunities

The Prizes Veteco/Asefave present his eleventh edition in some surroundings of changes for the sector of the closing glazed in our country, in which the deep crisis of the construction offers also important opportunities and has positive consequences so much for the manufacturers as for the technicians commissioned to design the new works and the performances of rehabilitation.

The Prizes Veteco/Asefave want to reflect the moment of change, standing out once again the products, so much of windows as of light faã§ades, that bet by the quality, the design and the, each more present day, concepts of energetic efficiency, sustainability and respect to the environingingment. The delivery of the awards will realizar during the celebration of Veteco 2014 International Living room of the Window and the Closing Glazed (7 to 10 May 2014), a fair that has bet firmly by the efficiency and the sustainability like main formulas to reactivate the business of the sector and surpass the crisis.

The proposals will have to present in the Commercial Steering of Veteco before the 15 hours of the Thursday 3 April, accompanied of the application of participation properly filled.

Like novelty, to celebrate this edition engloba in an only category the prize to the best performance in rehabilitation, with two sections: window and light façade, in accordance with the importance that Veteco wants to give in this edition to the rehabilitation. The manufacturers no only provide a product, but increasingly they offer a complete service to his customers offering solutions individualizadas for each work, reinventing new applications in function of new needs.

Finally, the prizes Veteco / Asefave follow congregation to encourage between the futures prescriptores the interest for knowing the closing glazed and, again, have the category of prize to the best projects end of career.

In the first category, that concedes the prize to performances in rehabilitation (window and light façade), will value the architectural design, his correct manufacture and put in work, the adecuación to the surroundings, the respect to the environingingment and the contribution to the energetic efficiency and to the global sustainability of the building, as well as the guarantees of quality contributed by the manufacturer and the control of reception and execution realizar in the work.

In each one of the two subcategories (window and light façade) will award a prize to the architect (2.000 € and diploma), another to the manufacturer of the final product (a supporting plate) and a third to the gamista/manufacturer of systems (a supporting plate).

Will be able to opt to these awards the architect or architects authors of the project or directors of the works, jointly with the manufacturer of the windows or light faã§ades of the works of edificación finalised between June of 2012 and the deadline of presentation of the announcement of the prizes.

The documentation to present consists in a maximum of two panels, size JOINS To-1 (594 mm x 840 mm), in light rigid support, mounted in vertical that contain: planes of façade and details of the characteristics of the windows or light faã§ades; and photographies, in a minimum of two, from different perspectives (without fixing size).

The panels have to be anonymous, do not have to include name of the architect, neither of the manufacturer, neither of the gamista. In the reverso it is necessary to include the name of the architect, manufacturer and gamista. And the application of participation will have to be signed by the architect author of the project and the manufacturer of the final product that has elaborated it.

The second category rewards the best projects end of career with the light façade. It will value the architectural design, the adecuación to the surroundings, the respect to the environingingment and the contribution to the energetic efficiency and to the global sustainability of the building.

Will be able to opt all the projects of end of career of any Upper Technical School of architecture of Spain, rest of the European Union and Latin America that had finished between April 2012 and the deadline of the presentation of the announcement of the prizes, whenever they had obtained a minimum qualification of remarkable.

In the documentation to include, by each project will present two leaves JOINS To-1 (594 mm x 840 mm) hit on light support, signed by the tutor, and the author of the project in the reverso; energetic certificate of the building or justification of his energetic consumption; the panels have to be anonymous; in the reverso of both panels include name and surnames of the author of the project; and application of participation filled.

Regarding the prizes, the 1º will be sponsored by the Group Laminex and will have 3.000 euros and supporting diploma; the 2º by Glassolutions and will be of 2.000 euros more diploma, and the 3º, sponsored by Veka, will have 1.500 euros and diploma. The 1ª quotation will be sponsored by Vitro and will suppose 1.000 euros and supporting diploma, whereas the second will be sponsored by Kömmerling and also will have 1.000 euros and diploma.
