Ball Edam cheese is a Dutch cheese made from pasteurized cow's milk and is distributed and sold traditionally in the form of balls or spheres of Red paraffin-coated.

The name of the cheese comes from the town of Edam in the province of North Holland. It contains a 45% fat in dry extract.
