Brie cheese: made with pasteurized cow's milk

Picture of Brie cheese
Brie cheese is a soft cheese made from pasteurized cow's milk. It is manufactured in France and its production area extends to the East of Paris, in the region of island of France.

Brie cheese is covered with a soft white rind completely edible, formed by the mold Penicillium candida, appearing during the healing period. The paste is pale, ivory or yellow light. The texture is creamy and delicate flavor, although this will be acquiring a stronger taste as mature. It is made in the form of wheel, integer and may be marketed or in triangular wedges.

Brie can be taken as an aperitif or for dessert, cheese platter, sandwich and accompanied by bread. It pairs well with red wine.

Sold in boxes of 2 pieces of 1 kg or for individual pieces of 3 kg.
