Buildings of Granollers can achieve until 43% of saving in heating

The Foundation The House that Saves and the National Centre of Renewable Energies presented on 19 June, during the celebration of the European Week of the Sustainable Power in the municipality of Granollers, the results of the PDEHU, a study that allows to know the conditions of energetic efficiency of the houses, characteristics of the envolvente of the buildings and the deficiencies of the same.

The Foundation The House that Saves was present like collaborator of the day that devoted to the energetic efficiency in the edificación. Also it had the participation of neighbours that from first hour of the afternoon could approach to the fair of installed samples in the centrical Square of the Church, in where different companies exposed his technologies and services for the improvement of the energetic efficiency in the edificación.

Francisco Serna, of the National Centre of Renewable Energies, Cener, exposed to the neighbours the results of the analyses termográficos and energetic simulations realised in the neighbourhoods of Congost, Can Bassa and Grinded, during the celebration of the day on Rehabilitation and Energetic Efficiency in Buildings celebrated in the building of the Gra. Francisco Serna realised a demonstration of how analyses an image termográfica and his back analysis. Also it exposed the results obtained in a neighbourhood of Granollers, in which through different measures like systems SATE, isolation of covers and installation of double acristalamiento have been able to achieve mock data of until 43% of saving in heating, what would suppose a saving in demand of heating of more than 8.000 euros to the year by block.

Also participated in this day Alberto Coloma, manager of the Foundation The House that Saves, that exposed the problematic that have at present in the sector of the edificación and after explaining how carried out the work of previous field to the results of the study, exposed the best solutions that can realise so much of collective form like individual in the buildings. By his part, Albert Camps, councillor of Environingingment and Space, described the goodnesses that presents the one who so many administrations like neighbours, involve in studies of these characteristics.

Like conclusions of the day, resaltar that the buildings of Granollers present favourable circumstances of face to future rehabilitations. In the energetic rehabilitation no only is necessary to take into account the economic saving, but also other factors like the improvement of the confort or the revalorización of the houses. And finally, stand out that the energetic rehabilitation is the only investment in the house that can recover by means of the saving in power consumed.
