Veteco Will tackle the rehabilitation and transformation of historical architectural spaces

In this Day, that will celebrate in the frame of Veteco, International Living room of the Window and the Closing Glazed, will present projects promoted by the City council of Madrid, the Community, and the own School of Architects of Madrid. Besides, the own architects authors of the projects and representatives of each one of the Institutions involved will participate in a round table like closing, chaired by the Dean of the Official School of Architects of Madrid, José Antonio Granary.

Between the speakers, the architect Carlos of Riaño will explain the process of update and rehabilitation patrimonial of the historical group of the Conde Duque; Carlos Baztán will speak on the rehabilitation of the Slaughterhouse, the specific vision of his value and the difficulties and experience in the plane of the integral rehabilitation of the heritage; the architects Araujo and Nadal will detail the rehabilitation of the House of Fieras (situated in the Park of the Retreat) and his new uses like library; Gonzalo Moure will refer to the new headquarters of the Official School of Architects of Madrid and will explain his integral rehabilitation (administrative spaces, polyvalent centre…), and Sea Fernández García, architect redactora of plan and of the project of catering, will explain the Plan Director of the Church of Santa Bárbara and the catering of covers (1ª phase).

To continuation, will celebrate a round table, in which they will participate José Antonio Granary, Dean of the COAM, and a representative of the Area of the Arts of the City council of Madrid. The meeting will be moderated by Nicolás Maruri Vocal of the Board of Government of the COAM.
