CECE Renews his commitment with the compliance of the machines and the hygiene in the work

The industry of equipment for construction is engaged with the hygiene and the fulfillment such as it has remained showed through the numerous activities carried out by the manufacturers through CECE. The most recent activities of CECE in this matter are the publication of two new documents whose purposes are to increase the knowledge on safe equipment and provide information to the customers so that they loan a special attention to the no satisfied equipment.
The first of the new documents is the brochure “What is a crane safe tower?”. This document provides recommendations on appearances of important hygiene for the buyers and users of cranes of tower. It includes councils on how distinguish easily a crane safe tower of another that is not it by means of references to his design, manufacture and maintenance.
The prevention of dangers in the design, manufacture and maintenance of the tower cranes is the unconditional requirement to fulfil with the basic principles of engineering in matter of hygiene. The dangers that can derive of a potential failure of the components or of the fail/lack of equipment of hygiene can warn by means of inspections.
The guide edited by CECE provides references on the legislation in force in the main countries European manufacturers. Besides, the guide describes the essential criteria that check in the cranes of tower during the inspections of hygiene.
The document includes recommendations of the manufacturers to increase the hygiene.

Second, CECE has published a brochure that resume the risks to which can expose the companies when they sell, buy or use equipment that are not satisfied totally with the European legislation.
The document gives specific examples on the aseguramiento of questions in matter of responsibility and reputation and can use like a guide for the analysis of the risks related with the production, sale or utilisation of machinery no satisfied in the European market. It does not pretend to be exhaustive, neither an exact interpretation of the existent legal requirements.
