16 March 2012
The Platform Multisectorial against the Morosidad (PMcM), impulsora of the Law 15/2010 of Fight against the Morosidad in the Commercial Operations, assisted to the meeting that kept the president of the Government, Mariano Rajoy, with the main representatives of providers of autonomous communities and city councils to present them the plan of 35.000 million euros set up to clear the pending bills of these administrations.
The president of the PMcM, Rafael Baron, had occasion to move personally to the Executive his request that, once that the city councils and autonomous communities begin to pay to his providers, “generate mechanisms that guarantee that this money flow until the last link of the chain, that is to say, that ensure that the companies that earn of the AA.PP. They pay the bills that owe them to his time to his respective providers, in his majority SMEs and autonomous, so that the effectiveness of the measure have an effect cracked real and definite”.
Likewise, Baron urged to that this plan of payments “do not mean a full stop in the form to do, so that inside some years find us with the same problem”. In this sense, requested that, once that the plan set up, ask to the AA.PP. That “they begin to pay in terms fulfilling the Law to correct the historical debt of the country, that is to say, that the administrations fulfil it directly in his new contests and adjudications, not paying in no case to a greater term to the established legally”.
In this line, so much Baron like the president of the Government coincided in that Spain has to fulfil the Law 15/2010 of Fight against the Morosidad no only to finish with this lacra that causes the closing of companies, but also by “competitiveness and international image”.
Regarding the set up of the plan of payment to providers, Baron valued very positively “the celerity of the Government to the hour to create this measure, that have fulfilled with the commitment that had with the PMcM of saldar the historical debt with providers and that at last this go to be quantified”.
In opinion of Antoni Cañete, spokesman of the PMcM, “with these measures the Government has initiated a way that would have to carry us to good port in April of 2013, when it will be compulsory to pay to 30 days as it demands the European Directive, since in contrary case, Europe will sanction to the Spanish Government, according to European sources”.
The PMcM continues demanding mechanisms that have been very effective in other countries that could help to improve the situation in Spain, for example the figure of the mediator in France like measure no coercive, to the equal that the implantation of a penalizing diet by incumplimiento.
