Spanish companies already offer A-1 quality pellet

Avebiom, the Spanish Association of energy valorization of biomass, is the National Association in support of the certification system that manages the brand in Spain and Aenor certification ENplus, the entity has certified that Pellets Asturias meets all the requirements for the best quality provided for in the certification scheme, the A-1 ENplus, becoming the first producer to get the seal of quality in Spain. The factory has a production capacity of 30,000 tons of pellets of wood, which is expected to ensacar approximately 20% in 15 kg sacks, 20% in big bags and the remaining material selling it in bulk. On the other hand, Enerpellet, a few weeks later, met the necessary paperwork to certify its two factories to meet the quality requirements for the category ENplus A-1. Both factories production capacity can reach the 60,000 tonnes per year, of which approximately half marketed ensacadas.

ENplus certification system is based on the European EN 14961-2 standard, referring to the pellets of wood for use not industrial. It is divided to wood pellets into different qualities. In this case, the A1 class represents pellets of Virgin wood and waste wood untreated chemically, with low content in ashes, nitrogen and chlorine.
