Aidico develops makes: the energy rating of buildings help tool

This computer application simplifies the resolution of specific problems arising from the energy certification, facilitates the work of technicians and provides relevant information for developers, users as well as the agents of the building sector.

The entry into force of the Royal Decree which regulates the energy certification of buildings of new construction has implicated the emergence of different tools to carry out this process, all of which are specifically targeting the residential sector. However, to qualify any type of building, energetically to date, there are only official tools provided by the Ministry of industry, tourism and Commerce through the Idae. Applications Calener (version VyP residential buildings and small tertiary and GT for large buildings in this sector) carried out the simulation of the energy performance of the building and its thermal installations, by assigning an overall rating to the entire building, and it is determined on the basis of the emissions of CO₂ associated to their energy consumption.

In this regard the software developed by ICT technicians Aidico technology leverages Calener VyP calculation engine for partial energy rating of different areas of a building. Once selected the specific spaces that you want to qualify, it automatically modifies the original geometry and makes the necessary changes to make partial building energy simulation. Furthermore, makes allows the edition of constructive, operational characteristics and properties of thermal installations.

So with this program may qualify individual homes or premises in buildings in block, anyways the rating in homes semi-detached or townhouses, the rapidly dividing between tertiary and residential area within the same building or even as a simulation tool for use in energy studies of specific parts of the building.
