More than 200 people in Madrid attending a seminar on hazardous fluids

Security in the handling of hazardous liquids and gases was the central theme of the seminar taught last April in the Institute of Catalysis and Petroleoquímica of the CSIC in Madrid.
The initiative, which helped the Department of prevention of occupational risks of the CSIC (Madrid) and Asecos companies, Sensotran and valves and connections Iberian (Swagelok), featured presentations that discussed current issues such as the storage and handling of chemical productslegislation and regulations in force; detection of gases, atmospheric monitoring, detection, alarms and equipment, as well as conducting fluids, identification and measurement of leakage, criteria for installation and selection of fittings and valves.
This seminar was attended by more than 200 people interested in increase and complement their knowledge on these so common aspects in laboratories.
