Third Congress of architecture Construtec Coam

The past Thursday, 7 October, celebrated in Madrid the III International Congress of architecture Construtec '2; Coam organised by Ifema inside the activities of the Fair of the Construction of Madrid under the title «Loading 2010: the beauty in the means of production». Gabriel Allende, commissioner of the sample, with Enrique Encabo and Inmaculada And. Maluenda, like commissioners adjuntos, designed a program that during two complete days exerted two activities inside the enclosure ferial. On the one hand the Future «exhibition… in pause», in which they participated more than one hundred equipment through recent proposals that configured the future image of the city-region of Madrid, and whose design runs to charge of Luis Úrculo and Luis Díaz-Mauriño.

By another, a cycle of six round tables successive, that agglutinated to a good cast of architects with base in the capital. The list of participants included, between other figures stood out, names like Cristina Díaz Moreno & Efrén García Grinda, Antón García Abril, Andrés Check, CanoSelgas, Juan Smiths, Manuel Ocaña, Andrés Perea, Salvador Pérez Brook, José Miguel of Prada Poole, Enrique Sobejano; urbanistas like José María Ezquiaga, Joaquín Mañoso and Enrique Bardají; names of historical like Luis Vázquez of Castro, Eleuterio Population Knappe or Antonio Lamela; and notable figures inside the area of the design, as Mauro Panzeri, Ignacio Valero, Manuel Estrada and Pedro Feduchi. Two singular notes in format of conference put an end to the activities of each one of the days: to charge of the Danish Bjarke Ingels, responsible of the office of architecture BIG and author of the Pavilion of Denmark in the Expo of Shanghai, and of the chair of Philosophy Francisco Jarauta like closing of the Congress, whose closure ran to charge of José Luis Esteban Penelas, commissioner of the previous edition.
