Hispalyt awards the prizes of the contest Hispalyt Chair III 'Pottery to build'

On 31 October, be held the awards of the competition Chair III Hispalyt, 'Ceramics to build', at the Hotel Westin Palace in Madrid. The contest, to which more than 120 projects, have chosen was based this year in the design of a public building in the historical centre of Toledo, in order to define an exhibition space, a tourist information centre and a viewpoint of the city.
The first prize, 12,000 euros, has fallen to Carlos García Fernández, a project in which the jury has appreciated the simplicity of the proposal, as well as the use of textures and spaces that value the ceramic material through its natural use.
The second prize, worth 9.000 euros, has been awarded to Luis Laliana Ortega. The jury highlighted the symbolic and utopian idea of the use of the viewpoint as column as well as travel of introspection, remembering to Simon the Estilita.
Jury also considered it appropriate to grant three special mentions for the high quality of the projects. The three awarded second prize, awarded $ 1,000 each, they grew suspicious in Alfredo Estébanez and Eduardo García; Albert Cleries, Quim Mullah and Manuel Juliá, and Felipe Gago.
