There is a wide variety of silicone sealants in the market, most of them are Silicones which give off acetic acid during the curing process, easily identifiable by its vinegared smell. This type of acéticas silicones have a very limited membership profile, not to be the most recommended for sealed on building materials.
The tightness of sealing guarantees a silicone to get an excellent adhesion on all media to seal, it maintains dimensional stability, without contractions that weaken the Board, be durable and also extremely resistant to atmospheric agents and solar radiation. Compliance with the sealant of all these requirements, avoids that problems of sealing and subsequent claims occur over time.
Neutral silicone for construction Sista-Solyplast
This is a neutral silicone system oxime, totally free from solvents, without contractions in the Board which can lead to breakage of type adhesive or cohesive, with the consequent loss of tightness.
Presents an excellent profile of accession on the majority of media that can be found in the construction: concrete, brick, wood, aluminium, ceramic, PVC, lacquer, stainless steel, etc. Rehearsed efforts of shear according to standard in 1465 or traction according to ISO 8339, shown in all cases breakage of cohesive types and not take-off.
It also complies with the requirements of international standard ISO 11600, F+G class 25 LM, and SNJF as a first-rate sealant is certified. Maximum capacity of movement in joints in construction (F) and (G) glazing.
Sista-Solyplast has a wide range of neutral Silicones in a variety of colors and format of cartridges of 300 ml and 600 ml bag.
