Nearly 700 exhibitors from 25 countries have registered in the contest

The positive response of the various sectors that make up the contest, the new services offered to its participants and an extensive and very dynamic parallel activities programme will mark the next edition of the Summit Industrial and technological, to be held on 25 to 28 September in Bilbao Exhibition Centre.

Three months of its conclusion, nearly 700 exhibitors from 25 countries have registered in the international fair of machinery and technologies for the production, which will be showcased the latest innovations from countries such as USA, France, Spain, GermanyItaly, Portugal and Sweden, mostly, but Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Denmark, Egypt, Israel, Japan, Norway, Poland, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, Ukraine will also be represented.

Summit Industrial and technological this year is the only meeting aimed at the most significant sectors in the manufacturing of equipment. The answer obtained by welding and automation companies, as well as the level of participation registered so far on the whole, allow to anticipate the establishment of a multisectoral forum of great commercial potential.

The steel-related firms, the machinery for foundry, forge, rolling and surface treatment and subcontracting will be located in Hall 1 of the campus, while in 2 o welding, automation, electronics, supplies, metrologymaintenance, industrial maintenance and new technologies. Finally, Pavilion 3 will be entirely devoted to industrial subcontracting.

With a total of 354 companies from 17 countries confirmed so far, outsourcing remains the only international fair of the sector in Spain and one of the events of reference in Europe. Germany, Argentina, Austria, Belgium, China, Denmark, Egypt, Spain, France, Holland, Italy, Japan, Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan and Turkey are some of the markets in industrial subcontracting and inter-firm cooperation event, whose growth rate stood at 13 per cent in the 2005 Edition.

In response to the actions of foreign promotion of support for the sharing formula grouped, especially designed to promote the presence of small and medium-sized enterprises, will be present, in addition, groups of signatures of Portugal, Italy, Argentina and Holland, and in our countryÁlava, Vizcaya, Guipúzcoa, Alicante, Cantabria, Sevilla, Vigo and Navarra. From the associative sector, entities as Acicae, the Basque country Automotive Cluster, Asimeco, Industrial Association for the improvement of competitiveness, and Hegan, Cluster of Aeronautics of the Basque country, host for the first time an exhibition area for its memberswhere various initiatives will be developed.

Finally, outsourcing will be the framework for the convening of the "II." "Premios nexus", an award created by the Technical Advisory Committee of the contest to publicly acknowledge the efforts of individuals, companies or institutions by progress, promotion and internationalization of this sector.

For the current edition of the Summit, Bilbao Exhibition Centre has been made available for new exhibitors special services to promote their participation in the fair, thus maximizing your profitability.

With this objective, in addition to common actions aimed at maintaining promptly informed the Group of visitors and facilitate their access to the sample, work in this area is currently supplemented by promotional tools various, as the design and launch of mailings or organized visits programme.

Latter will follow the outline of agenda of interviews arranged, an element of great added value which will manage the organizing team of the event from the list of companies and buyers provided by the Exhibitor customer.

As in previous years, and as part of the strategy of the Department of visitors to attract representatives of the highest level, the Summit Industrial and technological will again receive the assistance of international buyers delegations, mainly composed of managers and heads of production in countries around the world. Coordinated by the Bilbao Exhibition Centre agents abroad, the international network of the SPRI and commercial offices in each area, efforts to this programme have focused so far on thirteen countries: Chile, Argentina, MexicoBrazil, Venezuela, Morocco, Tunisia, Germany, United Kingdom, Italy, Holland, France and Portugal.

The Summit Industrial and technology will be completed, once again, with hours of quality on very different topics. The progress of programme includes the call for AEM around "The excellence in the management of the maintenance", of EVE, with the title "Energy saving and reduction of emissions of CO2 in the industry", a quote about "Optimization and planning of production in industrial enterprises"; "implementation of the T.I." organized by Infor Business Solutions and the day of Aenor, to coincide with its 20th anniversary. The "IV Forum technical international of Foundry" convened by Azterlan-Tabira and the "round table on the new standard EN ISO 3834" in charge Cesol closed, for the moment, the range of proposals.

For its part, the "Forum of the hiring", service that offers both exhibitors as visitors in order to boost its presence at the Summit, providing strategic information for their own interests, it will create a space for the commercial exchange between contractors and manufacturers. More than 800 events were carried out within the framework of this initiative in 2005.
