Open registration for the 8th edition of Veteco Asefave 2008 awards

Once again, call the awards Veteco Asefave, now in its eighth edition, on the occasion of the eleventh international lounge of the window and the glass enclosure, Veteco, held from 6 to 9 May 2008. The deadline for submission of proposals contestants (from among the products that present the exhibitors of the fair), which will end on March 31, 2008 is already opened. The jury will issue its ruling on 25 April of next year, out the delivery of the prizes for the contest, dates in which, in addition, all participating jobs, including those awarded in a zone enabled to this effect will be displayed.

The competition includes four sections. In Windows, is valued architectural design and its good manufacturing and commissioning work; the adaptation to the environment; respect for the environment and the contribution to energy efficiency and the overall sustainability of the building, as well as guarantees of quality provided by the manufacturer and the reception and execution control made in the work. They are eligible for this category those architects or directors of works, along with the manufacturer of the Windows of the works of construction or rehabilitation, made between June 2006 and the deadline for the presentation of the work, which expires on March 31, 2008.

As for the category of best façade light, provides exactly the same conditions, economic strength and profile of the contestants, but referred to this constructive element.

As regards the Innovation Prize, the jury will assess the research and innovation in the exterior carpentry; the design and implementation work; the adaptation to the environment; respect for the environment and the contribution to energy efficiency and overall sustainability of the building, as well as guarantees of quality taken in its design and production process.

In the latter category, there are the best career end projects with the light facade of technical schools senior of Spanish architecture and the rest of the European Union and Latin America, carried out between April 2006 and the deadline for submission of the call (March 31, 2008), with a minimum grade of notable. In this case, the members of the jury will take into account architectural design, the adaptation to the environment, respect for the environment and the contribution to energy efficiency and the overall sustainability of the building.
