AENOR gives to Alcalagres the certificate of environmental management

The firm, which already obtained the certification of its quality management system according to Norm UNE-EN-ISO 9001, in the year 1999 incorporates the environmental certification in recognition of his efforts in the protection of the environment. The environmental management system implemented in Alcalagres assumed control and minimize the environmental impacts generated by the activity of production of porcelain stoneware and the implementation of the existing environmental legislation, thus providing added value to their products.
The main environmental impacts related to the activity of Alacalagres are emissions into the atmosphere, noise emission, discharges of urban and industrial water consumption of natural resources and generation of hazardous and non hazardous waste.
The commitment to respect for the environment made by the company since the beginning of its activity in 1990 always has been an important goal in its global strategy and reflected once again with this certification.
