SAVER'06 receives more than 6,000 visitors

The fifth trade fair of machinery and equipment for gardening and green areas, SAVER'06, held recently at the Feria de Madrid, has encrypted its balance sheet in its increasing progression and the high professional level who has registered. In effect both the participation, which rose to 113 exhibiting companies, and the occupation, which has increased 23%, with 9.235 m2 net exhibition area, have contributed to strengthening the consolidation of SAVER as the great Spanish fair of gardening. In addition the presence in this call for a total of 6.087 professionals, as well as favourable commercial results that confirmed him as a prominent gardening sector boost.

The profile of the visitor has again focused on the following sectors: public and private gardening professionals, technical planning of city councils, responsible for maintenance of public parks and facilities, recreational spaces, and golf courses, communities of owners, landscape architects, builders, irrigation facilities and purchase of specialized establishments responsible for technicians.

Special host had Gallery of innovation, one of the main novelties presented by SAVER, that in this first call has distinguished the thirteen most innovative fair products. This initiative has been aim promoting the development of new products, and promote their dissemination within the sector. The distinguished new features have been: the lawn mower robot Robomow, the machine for the maintenance of artificial lawns Yvmo, and the machine to curbs Edgemaster, presented by the company supplies Ilaga. the cutting of Cork Stihl Mc 200, the Viking series 7, chainsaw Hs 441 professional lawn mower and the harness padded for work with trimmer of height of telescopic handling, Stihl comfort, Andreas Sthil signature; the garden X 304 minitractor with 4Ws, of John Deere; the chainsaw of pruning G2500 PAHO, of Agrofor; the chainsaw Active Mt-39 and the Active T-152 ahoyador, submitted by forest Garden; Trigón Pack of buildings mechanics Alcay agricultural crusher, and the GR2100 mower with Glide Steer, of Kubota Spain.

Landscaping has again had place at the fair. SAVER has wanted to show an edit the possibilities offered by current gardening through a project of landscape created by Ramón Escobar, director of Hispania green, which showed two different proposals, which were used in addition to rest area : a simulated French garden with a harmony of colours, shapes and materials, in contrast to a desolate and minimalist, landscape that was intended to be an expression of the devastation that produces the fire in the natural surroundings.

The theoretical area of the Hall has been also very followed by professionals in the sector. On this occasion, the Spanish Association of parks and gardens public AEPJP, held the day management, landscape and Cultural heritage, which dealt with issues related to environmental restoration, ecology and urban green system integration, environmental quality and green corridors, or the models of management of the public garden. Likewise the Manufacturers Association of Spanish irrigation, AFRE, organised the conference dedicated to the basic principles, trends and technology in sustainable irrigation of parks and gardens, which I agree with the one held by the Spanish Association of gardening centres, on the current situation of the sector.
