Celebrated the 14th edition the international fair of construction in FIBES

The Palace of exhibitions and congresses of Seville, FIBES, returned to the stage, as every two years, one of their shows with an international veteran and most important. 2006 Construction is the only monograph event on this sector held in Andalusia and which aims to promote the development of the sector of construction, as well as all the companies with related activities in this area.

2006 Construction was again marked by the boom in the construction sector in our country, something that certainly noticed in the last Edition with a rapid increase in the number of exhibiting companies who came from all points of the Spanish geography and outside our borders.

This year, the fair has emphasized in the emerging field of Solar energy in view of the future transformation of the legislation in this area. Also, construction has become so within the sector which is already meeting point required of all those who want to stay up to date on the latest developments in the construction, especially in the section on technological innovations that increasingly are becoming stronger.

The fair hosted, in an area of more than 40,000 m² (all covered and outdoor spaces of FIBES) more than 250 exhibitors direct and 500 indirect about representing sectors such as: isolation; waterproofing and painting; flooring and coatings; design; air conditioning in the housing and energy alternatives; rehabilitation; fixtures, fittings and accessories; safety and hygiene at work; information technology applied to construction; furniture, urban equipment, gardening and swimming pools; prefabrication and industrialised construction; sustainable construction; new technologies; light machinery and equipment for the protection and safety of works; elements of lifting and transport; elements for structures, forged and deck; apparatus for measuring and precision; woodwork; real estate, locksmith and metalworking. External areas of exposure this year were divided into three: two triangles, each one of 4,000 m², designed to accommodate the heavy machinery: cranes of high-tonnage (in exhibition a crane of more than 50 meters in height), elements of lifting and transport, manipulators, carts, elevators, mini loaders, etc. The offer of the fair was completed with a comprehensive series of technical workshops on urban planning, housing and environment, organized by the Diputación Provincial de Sevilla, developed in FIBES on 19 and 20 October.
