Positive results of the Congress held in Zaragoza
The choice of Zaragoza as the seat of the Congress was due to the ease of access, the collaboration of its tissue industrial dedicated to the transformation of plastics, plastics companies support provided by its University, its technology centerthe TIIP and the Aragonese administration.
The industry in Aragon is growing more than in the rest of Spain (1.6 per cent compared to 0.6 per cent) and so does the industry of plastic in similar terms: growth accumulated between 2000-2003 in the Aragon plastics industry was of 21.5 percent compared to 11% in Spain. A curious fact: of the 12 members that currently has the Executive Committee of ANAIP, 4 are executives of companies located in Aragon.

The Spanish Administration is making important efforts to defend the industry for the manufacture of bags of plastics in the complaint by low prices for imports from China, Malaysia and Thailand. It explained the different measures available to Spain and the European Union to defend themselves against unfair imports at low prices which could lead to a future with our industrial fabric.
