Cerame-Unie Promotes the Self-evident European of the Ceramic Industry 2014-2019

Cerame-Unie, European Association of Manufacturers of Ceramics, has promoted the manufacturing of the Self-evident European of the Ceramic Industry 2014-2019. Cerame-Unie, of which forms part Hispalyt through TBE (European Federation of Manufacturers of Bricks and Knit) represents to nueve sectors: bricks and knit, baldosas and tiles, ceramics of table and decorative, sanitary ware, refractory materials, technical ceramics, pipes of ceramics, abrasive and chinas esmaltadas.

The Self-evident, that has been remitted to the candidates to the elections of the European Parliament of the different political strengths and of the different countries, contains the following messages:

• The strategic paper of the ceramic sector, that collects in the Leaf of Route of the Ceramic Industry.
• The political lines key to European level to boost the reindustrialización of Europe during the mandate 2014-2019, grouped in the following thematic axles:

1. Climate and Power: evaluate the aims with regard to the climate of the EU to the light of the international negotiations, conserve and improve the relative measures to the escape of carbon further of 2020 in accordance with the EU ETS and recover the world-wide competitiveness of the prices of the power of the EU.
2. Environingingment and Construction: integrate the three pillars of the sustainability in the legislation of the EU, boost the concept of cycle of life to the hour to tackle the efficiency of resources and avoid the duplicity of the legislation of the EU and reduce the administrative loads.
3. Investigation and Access to the Financials: facilitate the access to the financials and to the investment in Investigation and Development.
4. External trade and inner market: boost the access of European companies to markets in third countries, guarantee the loyal competition on an international scale and reinforce the surveillance of the market to protect and inform to the consumers properly.

• The invitation to participate in the EPCF (Forum of the Ceramic Industry of the European Parliament), group of debate pluripartidista created in the year 1994 to facilitate the dialogue between the European institutions and the ceramic industry.

In the case of Spain, this action has been coordinated by Hispalyt (Spanish Association of Manufacturers of Bricks and Knit of Clay Baked), Anfre (national Association of Manufacturers of Refractory, Material and Affine Services) and Ascer (Spanish Association of Manufacturers of Tiles and Ceramic Pavings). Hispalyt Has remitted the Self-evident to the current members of the Parliament that present like Spanish candidates to the elections of the Parliament 2014-2019.
