Summoned the IX Contest Ceramic Classroom Hispalyt 2013/2014 in the category of Ceramic Façades

The Ceramic Classroom Hispalyt summon his IX Contest in the Category of Ceramic Façades. The Contest of bases in the presentation of a consistent project in the design of a pavilion of access to the crypt of the Colony Güell in Santa Coloma of Cervelló (Barcelona).

The Contest is promoted by Hispalyt, Spanish Association of Manufacturers of Bricks and Knit of Clay Baked, through the Ceramic University Classroom Hispalyt, created after the signature of an agreement of collaboration with the Polytechnical University of Madrid, with the aim to boost activities and educational initiatives that serve to strengthen the presence of the ceramic materials, integrating them in the architectural project.

In this contest of ideas, proposes the project of a small pavilion of access to the crypt and to the fence that delimits in the actuality this building. It poses an enclosed building and covered, of no more than 40 square metres of plant built. The use of this pavilion is the one to facilitate an information centre on the building, as well as sale of entrances to activities that celebrate in him (concerts and another type of public acts). This pavilion has to include, among others elements, the design of a fence for the plot where situates the crypt that substitute to the current, including a door of entrance and a place of control covered for the person to control the entrance to the enclosure.

In the intervention will use the brick and the ceramic materials like main material, having to look for the integration with the group. The combination with other materials (concrete, stone, etc.), will justify of agreement to the condicionamientos of the surroundings.

In the contest will be able to participate students enrolled, like minimum in third academic course of all the Schools of Spain, or of any faculty or school of the world, having to justify properly this condition, by means of corresponding form of registration.

The contest also is opened to upper architects that have obtained his degree in the two last years (from 1 January 2012 until 1 February 2014) with the title of Architect or Máster, where have implanted the plan Bolonia.
