The Foundation The House that Saves and the Femp subscribe an agreement to promote the energetic efficiency

The set up of a Municipal Observatory of Areas of Rehabilitation, the development of a model of ordenanza for the promotion of the rehabilitation with criteria of energetic efficiency and the celebration of days for the learning of municipal technicians, are the main actions that contemplates the agreement subscribed between the Foundation The House that Saves, Flcqa, and the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces, Femp, for the impulse of the energetic efficiency in the edificación.

During the celebration of an act that took place on 17 December, in the headquarters of the Femp, the president of the Flcqa, Francisco Javier Fernández Campal explained to the assistants that “the citizens still are not conscious of the environingingmental problem that generates the excess of energetic consumption. Yes that it is true that the Administrations are showing greater awareness, and proof of this have it in the laws that have promulgado in the last months, like the review of the Technical Code of the Edificación, the one of Qualification of Energetic Efficiency of the Buildings (classification To, B, C, D…) or the Law of Rehabilitation and Urban Regeneration, but still remains a lot of way for visiting”.

The president of the Flcqa also did reference to the support received by the Femp from his birth since it treats of the second agreement that sign (the first was in March of 2011 and developed actions for the manufacturing of an energetic diagnostic of an urban zone in five Spanish municipalities). Of this way, the Municipal Observatory will allow to contribute to the promotion of the application of criteria of energetic efficiency in the municipal areas in process of rehabilitation. Besides it will elaborate technical documentation of support to the local Administrations for the improvement of the energetic efficiency of the buildings and his diffusion to the local entities, with the development of a model of ordenanza. The third action contemplated is to contribute information and tools with the creation of a forum of debate, exchange and put in common of experiences, tendencies and tools, especially headed to average and small municipalities.

By his part Íñigo of the Serna, president of the Femp, commented that “this agreement defines how has to be the function of the local administrations in energetic matter and is to appreciate that we can collaborate in this matter. The energetic problem of our park edificatorio is clear and still remains us a very wide route for realizar, so much from the technical point of view like economic, to look for helps of face to the citizens that undertake this type of works of rehabilitation”.
