Molecor presents in Düsseldorf his last developments. Ignacio Muñoz, general director of Molecor Tech has a presentation titled ‘Orienting the future. Latest developments in PVC-Or', the Monday 21 October to the 15.30 h in Room 8 CCD Süd.

The tubes of PVC-Or are considered like some excellent tubes, but what does them so only? The PVC-Or is considerably more resistant that the PVC-Or and therefore has a better behaviour. It is roughly twice more resistant and ten more resistant times to the impact that the PVC-Or. But still the application of these pipes for the transport of water to pressesure has not been so extensive as it would fit to expect. Technical limitations and low efficiency in productive processes have supposed a limitation to the application and massive use of this product. However these limitations have surpassed and the system based in air of Molecor supposes an efficient system, that has expanded the rank of product to big diameters and pressesures, and therefore opens new markets, before enclosed. In 2010 the rank went of DN 90 mm to DN 500 mm. Today the biggest diameter manufactured is DN 630 mm and in pressesures of PN 16 bar to PN 25 bar and now the technology is list to reach the diameter DN 800 mm.

Molecor Developed a new technology with the purpose to join the advantages of the previous systems: an efficient process, stable that allowed the degrees of orientation higher, easy to use and compatible with the standard distributions. From the beginning the system was based in a process ‘in batch' (production tube to tube), because of his stability and to his degree of orientation, class 500, the highest. The main points to improve were: speed, reduction of the energetic consumption, the space and the hand of necessary work. The employment of air supposes a lot of advantages: the process is clean, sure and are not necessary stainless steels neither other materials anticorrosivos. It is a much faster process because of conditioning the material with air instead of with water, avoiding the thermal sensors inertia that supposes the work with water. The technical attainments that achieve with this system are: the condicionamiento of the tube, the speed of expansion and the fast cooling with air.

And now it has produced a new milestone in the history of the oriented with the design of a system based in air also, able to manufacture pipe of PVC-Or until 800 mm of diameter. This new system has been designed to give answer to the demand of diameters bigger of PVC-Or, producing tubes of PVC-Oriented from 315 mm of diameter until 800 mm.
