Afec signs a collaboration agreement with the Andalusian Energy Agency

This agreement will boost cost-saving measures in facilities of air conditioning and generation of hot water in buildings.
On July 16, the general Secretary of innovation, industry and energy, and President of the Andalusian Energy Agency, Vicente Fernández Guerrero, signed with the President of The Association of manufacturers equipment air conditioning (Afec), Luis Mena, a cooperation protocol.
The signing of this agreement is the establishment of a cooperation between both entities, which will facilitate the implementation of energy saving measures in facilities of air conditioning and domestic hot water in homes, businesses and in the tertiary, and commercial sectors within the framework of a set of initiatives that contribute to the achievement of the energy and environmental challenges, collected in the energy planning of Andalusia.
On the same date, and in line with the signing of the agreement, there was a Conference in Seville, which was inaugurated by the director-general of the Andalusian Energy Agency, Rafael Márquez, together with the President of Afec, Luis Mena, and the President of the Association of manufacturers of generators and transmitters of heat for hot water (Fegeca)Miguel Cervera.
In the course of the day, which was attended by more than 100 people, were given different presentations that discussed the wide range of highly efficient, possibilities existing in the market of air conditioning. By Afec, presented six papers, which were made by the representatives of the companies:Airzone, Ciat, Lumelco, Daikin, Mitsubishi Electricand Topclima.
