The Mark N of Aenor for ceramic materials of clay baked, sign of quality of the CTE

In April of the year 2012 the then General Steering of architecture and Political of House of the Ministry responsible for public works included to the Mark N of Aenor in the General Register of Signs of Quality of the CTE, for 13 families of products of construction, between which did not find the ceramic materials, according to the new requirements of Promotion, that establish that the products have to have diagrams of certification accredited by the National Entity of Accreditation (ENAC).

Now, the General Steering of architecture, House and Floor of the Ministry responsible for public works has agreed to expand the previous recognition and inscribe in the General Register of Signs of Quality the Mark N of Aenor for the following ceramic materials of clay baked used in the construction:

- Marks N Aenor for pieces of clay baked for factories to revestir –bricks and blocks no seen- (according to the norm JOINS-IN 771-1:2011)

- Marks N Aenor for ceramic boards of clay baked for covers (JOINS 67041:1988)

- Marks N Aenor stops knit and auxiliary pieces of clay baked (according to JOIN-IN 1304:2006)

At present, Aenor has certified under the Mark N of ceramic materials the production of 24 manufacturers of expensive bricks sight; 41 manufacturers of pieces for factories to revestir; 6 of ceramic board for covers and 17 centres of production of knit ceramic.

The Mark N identifies to the products certified by Aenor and accredits that the same fulfil with the requirements of quality and hygiene collected in the technical norms, having the certainty that the product is apt for the function for which has been designed.

This recognition supposes that it was possible to realise the control of reception of the ceramic products supplied in work by means of signs of quality. Of this way, facilitates the access of the ceramic products to the works without need of additional controls.

Of equal form, the ceramic products with certificate Aenor purchase the maximum level of confidence inside the categories of control of execution of the unit of work that establish in the different basic documents of the CTE, what can mean a decrease of costs of execution of the building.

The Technical Code of the Edificación (CTE) regulates the exigencias basic of quality that have to have the buildings for like this fulfil the requirements of hygiene and habitabilidad according to the foreseen in the Law of Ordination of the Edificación.

The CTE foresees that the marks, stamps, certifications of compliance or other signs of voluntary quality that facilitate the fulfillment of the exigencias basic of the CTE, will be able to be recognised by the competent Public Administrations, in accordance with his article 5.2.3 of the Part I of the CTE.
