Soto Of the Real, first municipality in certifying energetically his lighted up external with Aenor

The City council of Soto of the Real (Madrid) manages effectively his lighted up external, as it accredits it the certified ISO 50001 that has awarded him Aenor, the Spanish Association of the Normalisation and Certification, to the company Ferrovial Services, S.A. (Ferroser), attendant of the global energetic gestión of the installations of lighted up external of the City council of Soto of the Real.

The mayor of Soto of the Real, Encarnación Rivero, has received the certificate of hands of the director of Development of Aenor, José Luis Tejera, and of the director of Quality, Environingingment and Innovation of Ferroser, Sixto García, in an act that had the presence of the general director of Economy, Statistical and Technological Innovation of the Community of Madrid, Iñigo Gil-Married, and of Ángel Sánchez of Vera, boss of the Department of Services of the IDAE.

This recognition ensures that the installations of lighted up external of Soto of the Real have a system of gestión optimised for the correct use of the power, allowing the reduction of the consumption of the same, the financial costs associated and consequently the broadcasts of gases of effect invernadero. According to the mayor of Soto of the Real, “with this system of gestión the municipality will have an energetic saving of 80% in the lighted up external, turning into the first municipality of Spain in having a global energetic certificate according to the ISO 50001 of Aenor of all his lighted up external.”

The effort realised in the adecuación of all the installations of all the lighted up external has translated in the constant research of the excellence.

The profits derived of the implantation of the norm ISO 50001 that awards Aenor frame in three general fields: the environingingmental, the economic and operative and the one of image, and summary of the following form:

- Saving of power to short, half and long term

- Taking of consciousness and control of the quantity of power consumed

- Taking of consciousness of the measures of energetic saving

- Recognition to the confidence and hygiene that awards to the society on the improvement of the energetic efficiency.
