Aidico Investigates new processes for valorizar industrial waste

Under the technical steering of the Technological Institute of the Packaging, Transport and Logistical, Itene, participate in the project the Institute of Ceramic Technology, ITC; the Technological Institute of the Piece of furniture, Wood, Packaging and Affine, Aidima; and the own Aidico, centres with wide experience in the technological development of each one of the industrial states for which develop his capacities.

With the purpose to generate solutions to the waste, the project ‘Value' pretends to develop new applications for this type of wastes. The researchers, besides, look for new alternatives to his valorisation from the previous treatment of these materials, to end to adapt them to different productive processes.

Specifically, Aidico leads the package of corresponding work to the reuse of ashes of biomass, analysing the feasibility of the valorisation of the ashes generated after the aprovechamiento thermal sensors of the biomass that generates in the Valencian Community.

For the achievement of the package of work, has analysed the energetic potential of the biomass of the CV for his aprovechamiento thermal sensors. And the application of the ashes, like puzolanas and material activated alcalinamente and bioáridos like raw materials for the obtaining of concrete.

According to the responsible technicians of the project, “the waste generate a high environingingmental impact and important economic costs that repercuten of remarkable way in strategic industrial fields of the Comunitat Valencian, as they are the packs and packaging, the ceramic, the construction and the wood” –ensure-, “and this investigation will allow to minimise the environingingmental impact, reduce the costs by waste and proceed to his valorisation, well like power, well like material for the manufacture of other products”, require.

The project ‘Value 2 – Valorisation of Waste' has the financials of the Impiva of the Generalitat Valencian through the European Bottoms Feder of Regional Development, inside the Program of Helps to the R&D headed to the technological institutes 2012 with file Imdeca/2012/56.
