The adviser of Promotion of Castile-La Mancha visits a factory of structural ceramics

The adviser of Promotion of the Board of Communities of Castile-La Mancha, Marta García of the Shod, has expressesed his support to the sector of the structural ceramics in a visit realised recently to a factory of the sector of the zone of The Sagra (Toledo), Ceramic The Pigeon, where has been accompanied by the delegate of the Government of Castile-La Mancha in the province of Toledo, Fernando Jou, and by representatives to national and regional level of the associations of the sector of bricks and knit of clay baked: Elena Santiago, Francisco Rodríguez, Ángel Sotomayor and Raúl Peño.

Visit to the factory of Ceramics The Pigeon.

During the visit to the factory, the adviser of Promotion has known at first hand the new technicians that uses the sector in the production of materials of structural ceramics. The reason of the visit to Ceramics The Pigeon is to show the process of manufacture of the Spanish companies of structural ceramics, since the technology that this company has implanted is similar to the one of the rest of companies of The Sagra and to national level. It has selected the visit to Ceramics The Pigeon for being one of the few companies of the zone that is in operation in these moments, since the rest find stopped because of the grave crisis that crosses the sector.

Along the visit, representatives of the sector have showed him the new constructive systems Silensis, walls of brick of high acoustic isolation, and Structura, ventilated façade and autoportante with expensive brick sight. Marta García has not doubted in recognising the effort of the sector in the development of these constructive systems that, according to words of the Adviser “are determinantes for the investment in rehabilitation”, and has encouraged to the manufacturers of brick and knit to “be still in the senda of the development and the innovation, mainly in this sector, that has been especially affected by the economic crisis”.
