It treats of a pit with three compartments. In the first, produces a decantation of the solids sedimentables and a digestion anaerobia. By gravity the water happens to the second compartment, where follows the digestion and avoids the step of foams. The free water of solids goes in in the third compartment, the biological filter, composed by a material with a specific surface very high, where the aerobic microorganisms adhere . The water crosses all the filter by gravity, while the flora adhered to the filling of the filter goes degrading the organic matter dissolved. In this last tank is necessary a correct ventilation by natural shot. The utilisation of a plastic filling of high performance in the equipment provides a greater effectiveness to the process.
