The infrared camera Pi NoIR is a variant of the module of available camera in RS. It has the same sensor of 5 megapíxeles that his predecessor, but without the infrared filter, what turns him into the perfect tool for the capture of images in the darkness.

The Pi NoIR is ideal for applications that require nocturnal vision (photography of nocturnal fauna for hygiene and control), images hiperespectrales, astronomy and investigation paranormal. His sensor is able to attract fixed images with a resolution of 2.592 x 1.944, in addition to recording videos in high definition of until 1.080 p to 30 fotogramas by second, allowing to the users of the models of Raspberry Pi To and B generate applications of video. Has some dimensions of 20 x 25 x 9 mm and connects to the Raspberry Pi through the pines CSI free, using the interface of control I²C.

To initiate with Pi NoIR, the users need a plate Raspberry Pi, a card SD with the installed operating system and a battery or source of feeding. Besides, there are other optional accessories like the lamp of infrared, the support of camera and several cables for HDMI, VGA and connection Ethernet.
