The objective of the National Association for sustainable architecture (ANAS) is the promotion of a true sustainable architecture, perfectly integrated into the natural ecosystem capable of fully satisfying the needs of the occupants, without prejudice to the well-being and development of future generations.
Therefore, ANAS declares an honest commitment to human development and social stability, to establish a new paradigm in architecture that is capable of: optimize resources and materials; decrease the maximum energy consumption; promote the use of natural and renewable sources of energy; minimize the generation of waste and emissions; to minimize the cost and maintenance of buildings and improve the well-being and quality of life of its occupants.
Supplementary shaped ANAS aims to recover the social utility and the professional architect's value, since the only viable and effective way of solving the environmental problems of the construction industry mandatory through the adoption of new compositional strategies in architectural design.
