IV International Prize to the Innovation in Roads Juan Antonio Fernández of the Field

The interested in participating in the new announcement of this award have to send two copies of the work, whose extension will not surpass the 50 pages, in addition to a copy of the same in computer support, curriculum vitae and photocopy of the National Document of Identity or Passport of the authors. All this documentation will have to go accompanied of a writing in which they appear the personal data of the authors (name, domicile, fax and ecouriers), with a statement expresseses and signed of the acceptance of the bases of the Prize. In this document, also will have to detail the title of the work, that will go accompanied of a summary and a relation of the complementary documentation that present.

To the international public recognition that supposes this award it is necessary to add an economic endowment of 12.000 euros for the winning project. Besides, like novelty in this edition 2011-2012, the IV International Prize to the Innovation in Roads Juan Antonio Fernández of the Field contemplates the delivery of the Accésit Björnulf B. Benatov, in memory of this Engineer, master of the FAEC and promoter of the contest, died in April of 2011. This Accésit is endowed with 3.000 .

With this Prize, the FAEC pretends to contribute to the development of the road technology all over the world through the realisation of investigations developed from miscellaneous scientific perspectives. Also it explains between his purposes the convert the Spanish tongue in preferential language in the road investigation.

The Jury of the IV Edition of the International Prize to the Innovation in Roads Juan Antonio Fernández of the Field is chaired by José Luis Elvira Muñoz, technical director of the General Steering of Roads, of the Ministry responsible for public works.
