Mann+Hummel shows his C.A.R.E. program in Smopyc
March 24, 2011
The company Mann+Hummel, an expert in the manufacture of filters for automotive and industry, presents this year in Smopyc 2011 its C.A.R.E. program, specially designed to reduce polluting emissions from industrial diesel engines. The range of application of these engines is extensive, as are mobile compressors, generators, machinery construction and public works, agricultural machinery and forklifts, among others. This programme aims to protect people and the environment from emissions acting in two stages. The first is preventive and consists of the protection of the engine, primarily moving parts ensuring a proper, and lubrication in the optimization of combustion through the filtration of the air and fuel to remove unwanted particles and water. In addition to the brand oil filters, Mann+Hummel is a specialist in design and manufacturing of centrifuges MHFM. These devices are particularly effective in the separation of the hollines that are generated in the combustion and are deposited in the lubricating oil, managing to keep the original properties of oil and extend its life up to 100%. It also has filters of fuel 'multigrade' complying with the parameters demanded by the 'common rail' engine manufacturers. The company emphasizes its pre-filter of fuel PreLine, suitable for bio-diesel, which in addition to remove particles of greater than 30 microns in size, is capable of eliminating any remaining water that may exist, with a level of incomparable efficiency. The second stage is palliative and consists of gases generated in the combustion process, specifically carter gases and exhaust gas filter.
