Building behind the line of high speed Sevilla-Cádiz with 56 million euros

The Ministry of public works has awarded to the Union temporary companies (UTE) made up of Azvi, S.A. and Tecsa Empresa Constructora, S.A. works of track and electrification of the subsection Utrera - Las Cabezas de San Juan (Sevilla), belonging to the Utrera-Aeropuerto of Jerez in the line of high speed Sevilla-Cádiz section. The budget of the award amounts to 56.098.021,71 euros.
The line of high speed Sevilla-Cádiz is part of the Strategic Plan for infrastructure and transport (PEIT) 2005-2020 and will serve to extend the axis of high speed train to Cádiz. All their sections are currently in service or with their works in progress.
This line, which will give a high speed access to the passengers of the axis, is designed in such a way that at the end of its route (between Jerez and Cadiz) allow, in addition, boost the traffic of nearby, of great importance in the area of the Bay.
To achieve these objectives, the Ministry of public works is doubling the track in its entire length and improving the layout in many points with the variants required, to allow circulation at high speed. The Assembly of the new Rails in Iberian wide is being conducted also on multi-purpose sleepers, which will allow the change of the international width line in the future.
On electrification systems, safety facilities and communications of the new line, meet all the requirements to allow the circulation of high-speed trains. In addition, it provided for the total removal of level crossings on the line and an increase in permeability with the construction of new viaducts.
