Environment and road safety focused discussion at the next meetings of the AEC

The course on "Study, design and Control of bituminous mixtures" (in Barcelona, from 3 to 5 November) is the result of the agreement between the technical foundation of Catalonia and the AEC for the conduct of various seminars on roads, with the aim of disseminating new techniques and knowledge among professionals in the sector. The course presents different procedures and essays on various mixes and obtained from bituminous materials, such as those developed in the United States Strategic Highway Research Program (SHRP program.UU. or those established by the laboratory of roads Cantabrian, (method, UCL, BTD trials), which are used in the project and design of these mixtures and which have been collected in the Spanish legislation (UNE, NLT) and European (CEN). It will also analyze the application to the design and the CE marking of the different types of mixtures used on our roads, from porous mixes up mixing recycled in floor hot.
On the other hand, in order to analyze the possible introduction of the payment step that the Portuguese Government will launch in October for use in road infrastructure, the AEC organizes these technical days of debate "The pay per use to debate"where will address fundamental issues such as the viability of this project, the technology available to do so, the experience in other countries and the problems in the face of public opinion, among others.
