After more than two years on the ITA for its r & d projects, the last November Tabe and ITA formalized their relationship through the signing of an agreement of collaboration, the cost of which will be completely carried out by workshops
Betoño, S.A.. This agreement, which will be renewed annually, Tabe will offer a great differential advantage: the ability to implement tools for design and innovation for the time being none of its competitors.
Under the agreement signed between workshops Betoño, S.A. and the technological Institute of Aragon, Tabe will have the resources in the ITA to deal with all kinds of r & d projects. The first developments undertaken include an advanced test bank, which will be used to test both the new AGB-40 hammer and models of highest weight that are developed in the future.
In practice, the Convention is that the ITA becomes an extension of the r & d Department of TABE, where carried out collaborative projects in all related to research and technological development, studies, measures and analysiscalibrations and tests and any other activity that performs the ITA and which may be of interest to the company in the present or in the future. The aim, in short, is allow the company to, generically, allocate a part of its annual budget to r & d activities, without the need to engage in investment of equipment purchase or hiring of personnel. On the other hand, the ITA offers the company a double service: one of advice and information on grants available for the industry, and one of surveillance technology to stay abreast of advances in technology in the sector and the movement of markets.
Projects are already underway under this Convention, it should be noted mainly two: the model AGB-40 and the new test bench. With the new Bank the level of automation and monitoring is of such a scale that practically testing are developed alone and always in the same way. You will eliminate the uncertainty which is a manual control of trials to ensure the repetitibilidad of them.
In addition to this project, the year will be carried out many more "micro" with ITA, although more oriented to the technological development of Tabe than current products to the development and innovation as such.
