The main attraction of the fair is the celebration of the day of the buyer

Preparations for the Conference aimed at buyers at the fair Z, 2006, the international trade fair for industrial subcontracting, parts, components, molds and technologies, have moved to the next stage. Within the framework of the celebration of the 2006 Z in Leipzig fair, a total of 22 companies seeking new suppliers, especially in the sectors of the automotive and the construction of installations, machines and tools. Some of these applicants used this service offered by the Leipzig fair, e.g. for the first time. Amandus Kahl (constructor of facilities and machines), Carcoustics International (a manufacturer of sound systems for the car with several branches around the world), Renk AG (a company that produces propulsion systems), or Dräxlmaier (automotive supplier).

Those suppliers wishing to offer their services to the companies that appear in the list also can be known through the Internet until 3 April to be able to arrange an interview during the Conference aimed at buyers.

In the last edition, settled some 400 business contacts thanks to the intervention of the Leipzig fair. "This event has been a great success because for exhibitors, usually small and medium-sized companies, it is not easy to be known to potential customers", says Deliane Träber, Director of the fair Z.

Their participation was coordinated by the Chamber of Commerce of Sabadell, the bag of subcontracting of Catalonia, Basque country, Galicia and Zaragoza.

In its 6th Edition the subcontracting of Leipzig fair, held from 21 to 23 June 2005, received 4,500 trade visitors, a 23 percent more than in the previous edition and a total of 461 exhibitors, an increase of 7 per cent over the previous year. The sectors represented in the German city were suppliers of components, pieces, moulds, technologies and industrial services for machinery, manufacturers and suppliers of the automotive industry.

From the point of view of industrial subcontracting Catalan and Spanish, the overall evaluation of the fair is very positive both in quality of the obtained contacts, the size of the fair, specializing in the automotive sector, and the participation of the exhibitors from countries of Eastern Europe (Czech Republic, which was the special guest country, Poland, Slovakia and Bulgaria). Catalan and Spanish companies have a competitive advantage in the quality of the production and the experience of work in the automotive sector, for the rest of the exhibitors from Eastern Europe.

The Spanish participation was 60 square metres of exhibition and was co-ordinated and directed by the Chamber of Commerce de Sabadell along with the bag of subcontracting of Catalunya and the bags of the subcontracting of the Basque country, Galicia and Zaragoza. Also the COPCA, the Stuttgart car platform, had a booth within the stand. Ames and Stahlcofix completed such participation also supported economic sponsorship of the COPCA, within the Sectorial Plan of Catalonia 2005 outsourcing.

According to the bags of subcontracting of Catalonia, they consider that it is necessary to be present in this type of event, where the countries that have recently joined the European Community offer their services at very competitive prices thanks to its cheap labour. For its part, Catalan and Spanish companies offer their expertise and knowledge of European legislation as well as his experiences in the markets of the EU.
