The market of commercial and industrial vehicles of occasion grows 10,9%

Fruit of the agreement of collaboration that Ganvam is supported by the Institute of Studies of Automotive sector (IEA), this association has published a report on the evolution of the market of commercial and industrial vehicles of occasion during the first quarter of 2014, by segments and antiquity of the vehicles, compared with the same period of 2013.

According to this study, the sales of VO of commercial and industrial vehicles in the period January–March of 2014 have registered a growth of 10,9% in his group, reaching 87.494 units, in relation with the same period of the year 2013, that the market closed with 78.887 units.

By segments, the derivatives and vans and the commercial means continue showing solid growths and represent jointly 83,3% of the total of industrial vehicles.

Attending to the stretches of antiquity, in the accumulated to March of 2014 all show growth in his figures. The VO of less than three years grow 26,9%, the VO of three to five years do it 4,7%, the VO of five to ten years grow 1,9%, and the VO of more than ten years increase his figures 16,7%.

Concerning the distribution, according to the stretches of age analysed, in the accumulated to the first quarter the VO of less than three years, with 9,8% of the total market, increase 1,2 points concerning the same period of 2013; the VO from among three and five years lose 6 tenth and situate in 9,9% of the market; the VO from among five and ten years yield 3 points porcentuales his representativeness, supposing 33,3% of the total of industrial vehicles; and the VO of more than ten years, with an increase of 2,3 points, represent 47,0% of the total of industrial vehicles of VO.
