The adviser of Public Works, House and Transports of Aragon inaugurates the 22º Vyodeal

Rafael Fernández of Alarcón Smith, adviser of Public Works, House and Transports of the Government of Aragon, has chaired the official inauguration of the 22º Symposium National of Roads and Works of the Local Administration (Vyodeal), organised by the Spanish Association of the Road (AEC) with the support of the Government of Aragon and the Deputations of Huesca, Teruel and Saragossa.

Beside Fernández of Alarcón, seated to the opening table of the congress José Antonio Sanmiguel Mateo, first vice-president of the Deputation of Saragossa; Ramón Millán Piquer, vice-president second and delegate of Roads and Works of the Deputation of Teruel, and Armando Borraz Alcubierre, president of the Commission of Cooperation and Public Works of the Provincial Deputation of Huesca. By part of the Spanish Association of the Road (AEC), has attended his vice-president, Luis Alberto Solís Villa.

Next, the adviser has participated in the Round Table that gave beginning to the 11:00 hours, in which it has debated on ‘budgetary Limitations, optimisation of resources and identification of other roads of financials'. The analysis has been moderated by the Aragonese journalist Sergio Melendo, with the participation of stood out experts in this field.

During the period 2000-2012, the destined investments to these roads supposed 12,5% of the total for road infrastructures, with an annual half total of 828 million euros. However, in the case of the exercise 2012, the games devoted to the roads of Deputations and Cabildos hardly reached the 596 millions.

On the other hand, the investment in local or provincial roads generates a return impositivo to the next State to 59%, which translates in a financial efficiency very high for the public arks.

To this it would be necessary to add the capacity to generate employments of the provincial and local network: could create 15 employments by million of euros invested.
