The sales of trucks grow 19% in the first fortnight, according to Ganvam
The registrations of trucks situated in 29.312 units during the first fortnight of February, what supposes a rise of 19,2% regarding the same period of the previous year, according to data of the Institute of Studies of Automotive sector (IEA) facilitated to the
Thanks to the impulse of the PIVE 5, the sales to individuals -the main benefited of these purchasing aids- shot 49,8% during the first-half of this month, until the 14.600 units, with rises generalised in practically all the autonomous communities.
The channel of companies, by his part, broke the downward trend and marked positive, increasing 12,9% his sales, until reaching the 6.278 units, mainly by the strong increase of the registrations of Extremadura (+225%) and Cantabria (+90,5%), that achieved to neutralise the descent of Navarra (-24,2%) and Valencian Community (-19,2%).
By the contrary, the segment of alquiladoras registered a descent of 6,5%, until situating in the 8.434 units, owed in good part to the bad figures registered in zones of tourist interest like Andalucia (-56,4%), Balearic (-52,6%) or Canaries (-24,4%).

The estimate of Ganvam is that the sales of vehicles close this year with some sales around the 800.000 units, what supposes a growth of 11% in front of the past year in which they sold little more than 720.000 units.
Madrid marks the exception in a map in positive
In the contrary extreme, Extremadura and The Rioja situated like main impulsoras of the market, with rises of 78,1% and of 65%, respectively, followed of the Valencian Community (+50,5%), Asturias (+49,2%) and Basque Country (+41,4%).
