More than 50 delegates and a Spanish pavilion in the world-wide road meeting more important of the year

The capital of Saudi Arabia, Riad, is receiving from the 10 to 14 November the celebration of the 17° World-wide Congress of the International Federation of Roads (International Road Federation, IRF), the most important event of the year for the road sector of all the planet. There they will give appointment near of two thousands of experts in roads of all the world.

The meeting started the past Sunday 10 November in the Intercontinental Hotel of the Saudi city, headquarters of the meeting. The minister of Transport of the country, Jubarah Bin Eid To the-Suraiseri, chairs the opening act official, accompanied, between other personalities, by the president of the IRF and mayor of Riad, To. To the-Mogbel, and by Jacobo Díaz Pineda, president of the European Federation of Roads (European Union Road Federation, ERF) and general director of the Spanish Association of the Road (AEC).

Our country travels with more than 50 delegates and a national pavilion of 300 m².

The public servicys and private companies Spaniards of the field of the road infrastructures have bet decididamente for showing to the international community the high level of the technology of roads of our country. They participate in the Spanish pavilion companies of the field of the management of the traffic and the intelligent systems of transport, like Etra, Group Postigo, Indra, Sice, Sistem and Schneider Electric (Telvent); engineers, like Ineco and Rauroszm; constructors, like FCC and OHL, and sectorial institutions like the Institute Vial Ibero-American and the own Spanish Association of the Road.

The technical program of the meeting contemplates very miscellaneous contents and formats. Like this, of the 10 to 14 November, Riad will receive meetings to the highest level. Between other appointments, will celebrate a summit of ministers of Transport and Public Works of all the world, a meeting of local mandators and several tables of work on road projects of importance and management of motorways, between other a lot of questions.
