Ganvam: "3 Pive creates a positive inertia on sales from here to end of year"

Pive 3 plan, recently announced by the Government, will help create a positive demand incercia, now that the market began to regain the pulse. So says Juan Antonio Sánchez Torres, President of the National Association of sellers of Motor (Ganvam) vehicles. According to the entity, sales of individuals, the main beneficiaries of the aid, chain three months of rises streak, with a cumulative growth of 6.5% until June.

The Vice-President of the Government, Soraya Saez de Santamaría, announced at the press conference after the Council of Ministers that the Government is preparing a decree to extend the plan with an endowment of EUR 70 million. In this sense, the President of the employers, which represents 4,600 dealers/official services and 3,000 sales, it appreciated the efforts of the Executive to give continuity to a measure that Park has risen as one of the most efficient for rejuevenecer and boost demand. These new incentives will help maintain at least the same figures closing last year, while 700,000 units are still far from the 1.2 million that would be "normal" in Spain by population, income per capita and motoriacion.

The President of Ganvam stressed the importance that new aid be made effective as soon as possible in order to not retract purchases and aggravate the difficult situation facing already on its distribution networks. In the past five years, more than 40,000 jobs and 3,000 SMEs have been lost in the sector from the sale of cars.

Finally, Sanchez Torres referred to the strategic nature of such aid to revive a sector that is key to the economy of our country to represent 9% of the GDP and create more than 250,000 jobs only in distribution networks. Currently, it contributes also with nearly 25,000 million into the public coffers.
