ACS launches a platform for training online for the road sector

La Asociación Española de la Carretera (AEC) has just launched its own platform of training online for the road sector: www.aecarreteraformacion.com.
Although fully developed in other professional areas, online training presented a clear demand in the field of road infrastructure, both in our country and throughout the Latin American region.
For this reason, the platform promoted by the AEC was born with an international vocation, and aims to become a reference point for all the technicians and managers working on one side of the Atlantic. For this purpose, it has the support of the Institute Vial Ibero-American (Ivia), which will contribute to the dissemination of courses.
Although at the moment included programs are all engaged in road safety, this teaching platform aims to go further and include subjects such as the environment, financing, transport or road conservation, among others in the short term.
In addition, the Spanish Road Association aspires to that initiative enrich themselves through the establishment of collaboration agreements with universities, Spanish and Latin American, and with other relevant international institutions and bilateral agencies in road infrastructure.
Students who complete courses with exploitation, i.e. who have participated in the platform and the corresponding evaluation tests, will receive the certificate of relevant training.
In addition, registered practitioners will count from the first day with the help and supervision of a team of tutors with extensive experience in the field of road.
The training platform of the ACS was presented officially in the 6th National Congress of road safety (Logroño, 8 and 9 may 2013) on the occasion of the launch of the training course, specialist in road safety, whose enrollment is open.
