Carlos Moral, director of Operations of Barloworld Finanzauto, chairs the Committee Organiser of Smopyc

In the constitutive meeting of the Committee Organiser marked the lines of work and appointed to the new president of the Committee Organiser. It treats of Carlos Moral, director of Operations of Barloworld Finanzauto.

The new president, Industrial Technical Engineer by ICAI and Industrial Engineer by the Polytechnical University of Madrid, has occupied diverse positions along his professional career in Barloworld Finanzauto, from his incorporation in 1995, and at present is director of Operations, with responsibility especially in the business of machines of the company and the network of distribution of Bases and Delegations by all the Spanish territory. Has also responsibility on Sitech, distributor of the products Trimble of control of guided and GPS for the markets of the construction and movement of earths.

Carlos Moral, person of enormous sectorial prestige, accumulates a big experience in the sector and knows very closely all the problematic of the professional activity of the world of the machinery for public works.

After his nomination, the new president expressesed his gratitude and signalled the solidez of the group that forms part of the committee of Smopyc, “a fair referent, that definitely in 2014 goes to suppose an important moment for the sector”. Carlos Moral, that referred to the current sectorial situation, manifested his confidence in that this do not prolong by long.

In the meeting of the Committee Organiser, constituted by 22 companies, 19 organisms and associations so much national like international and 4 media, established the guidelines of work for the contest, that will take place of the 1 to 5 April of the next year 2014.

The living room, that in his previous edition attracted to 1.253 display units and was visited by near of 100.000 professionals of 70 countries goes to be the contest of reference in Europe, in 2014 and has consolidated his international presence in the most stood out forums of the world.

In the meeting established lines of performance in very diverse appearances as they are the promotion of the innovations, initiatives to involve to the professional youngsters, strategies of catchment of visitors, actions of internationalisation and presence in external markets, utilisation of tools of communication of last generation and a good number of initiatives that go to go developing along the next months to achieve that Smopyc was again the international meeting point of the sector in which it carries 40 years generating business.
