AEPA Castile-La Mancha gathers with the adviser of Promotion of the Autonomic Executive

The adviser of Promotion of the Board of Communities of Castile-La Mancha, Marta García of the Shod, has announced the imminent apparition of a Strategic Plan of Mineral Resources No Energetic in the region, with the object to promote and dinamizar the mining sector. The announcement realised in the meeting of the Table of the Arid, to which assisted the president and the adviser of AEPA Castile-La Mancha, Raúl Esteban Carlero and José Luis Sanz Contreras, respectively, together with representatives of the councils of Promotion, Agriculture and Environingingment and Culture of the Government of Castile-La Mancha and the general director of Industry, Power and Mines, Alfonso Vázquez.

Said plan is realising with the collaboration of the sectors affected, represented, among others, by AEPA Castile-La Mancha, in addition to having the participation of the regional University, technology centres, the Federation of Municipalities and provinces (FEMP) and other associations like the AFA. His object no only limits to the arid, that is the fundamental part of the industry extractiva of the region, but has the vocation to refer to all the mineral resources no energetic that work in Castile-La Mancha, as it has explained Marta García.

The headline of Promotion gave to know the set up of this initiative in the transcurso of the meeting of the group of work of the Table of the Arid, a forum that has been described by the adviser like “an instrument of collaboration and interlocución active between the Administration and the sector of the minería no energetic, so as to analyse the situation that is crossing the sector in Castile-La Mancha and establish the timely measures for dinamizar, in the measure of the possible, this important industry”.

García has underlined that the Table of the Arid looks for “solutions that allow to minimise the damages that the coyuntura economic is causing in this business field”. In this way, it has referred to some “challenges” to which has to confront the sector of the minería no energetic in the region, like “improving his image in front of the society, making it compatible with a sustainable development; improve the learning and qualification of all those that work in this industry; improve the administrative procedures, and improve the collaboration between the administrations, especially with the local”. And it added that these challenges constitute the next lines of work of the table of the arid.

In the meeting, Raúl Esteban, president of AEPA Castile-La Mancha, exposed the main problems of the sector of the arid, manifesting his support to the development of the Strategic Plan and to the lines of work proposed, indicating that AEPA Castile-La Mancha will be participating actively in the sessions of work that celebrate .
