Spain leads the international market in technology for the gestión of the traffic

To give to know all the know-how developed in this sector and set up of conjoint form by companies and administrations of our country, on 11 December gives beginning in Madrid the International Congress of the Gestión of the Mobility, with the lemma ‘The standardisation, key in the success of Spain'. This meeting will take place until 13 December in the School of Engineers of Ways Channels and Ports, where will gather more than a hundred of experts in urban mobility and interurbana pertinent of all the world.

Luis Aguilera, subsecretario of the Home Office, María Followed, general director of Traffic, and Antonio of Guindos, delegate of the Area of Government of Environingingment, hygiene and Mobility of the City council of Madrid, will chair the inauguration.

Besides, are invited to the table the president of the Spanish Association of the Road, Miguel Mª Muñoz; the director of the Division of Infrastructures, Environingingment, Power and TIC's of the Spanish Institute of External Trade (ICEX), Alicia Montalvo; the vice-president of the Spanish Association of Normalisation and Certification (Aenor), Aniceto Saragossa; and the president of the School of Engineers of Ways, Channels and Ports, Juan Santamera.

After the inauguration will proceed to the reading of the opening report, ‘Institutional Model and Spanish architecture for the gestión of the urban traffic and interurbano', to charge of the coordinators of the Congress: Carlos Blond (City council of Madrid) and Enrique Belda (Home Office).

In total, will present 15 reports, and will open two tables of debate in which it will analyse the perception that has out of our borders of this Spanish model of gestión of the mobility.

As I complement to all this, are programmed technical visits to the Centre of Gestión of Traffic Interurbano of the DGT in Madrid, to the centres of control of urban traffic and of the Street 30 of the City council of Madrid, and to the State Centre of Processing of Complaints Automated (Estrada).

Led by General Steering of Traffic (DGT) and organised by the Spanish Association of the Road (AEC), the International Congress of Gestión of the Mobility is promoted by the City council of Madrid, with the collaboration of the Spanish Institute of External Trade (ICEX).
