Two excavators Marry work in the improvement of the accesses to a French shopping centre
The works to renew the infrastructure and improve the traffic and the hygiene in the crossing with the RN 57 began in March of 2012. The new excavator CX of the Series C have fulfilled totally our expectations in Épinal. They offer a greater capacity of elevation and power of excavation, as well as cycles shorter. All these qualities helped to promote our productivity”, explains Philippe Vuillemin.
A saving of the fuel of 17%
The consumption of fuel repercute directly in the costs of exploitation and is one of the main priorities of the operators. The drivers of the new excavator CX of the Series C of Peduzzi TP warned quickly that the consumption was a lot of minor that in the previous models.
“When filling the tank of fuel, gave us account in followed that the consumption was inferior that in the others machines CX of our fleet. The consumption has reduced in some 50 litres by working time. Since the tank contains an average of 300 litres, is an important data”, explains Samuel Petitjean, one of the drivers of the new machines CX of the Series C.
The excavators CX of the Series C are instrumented with an engine Tier 4 with a level reduced of broadcasts that offers a greater efficiency and lower costs of fuel.
The engine fulfils the applicable norms to the broadcasts of contaminantes thanks to the system of recirculation refrigerated of the gases of leakage (CEGR) and to a filter of particles diesel. And neither it is precise to add liquids of leakage.
The system of automatic regeneration of the diffuser of particles diesel (DPD) allows to optimise the productivity. To low diet, the control improved of the hydraulics pumps and five new devices of saving of power reduce the consumption of fuel until in 17%. Besides, the driver can activate the económetro of the cabin to see adjust them more economic of the machine and register the consumption of fuel in real time.
“Has facilitated the maintenance grouping the tanks and filters and expanding the time between changes of oil of the engine to 500 hours and between changes of the hydraulics oil to a total of 5.000 hours”, adds Samuel Petitjean.
A new cabin designed especially for the operator
The drivers of Peduzzi value also the comfortable cabin and the controls again design. "The new machines CX250C and CX350C are very comfortable, a detail of big importance for drivers like us. And they are much easier to handle.
The new controls are shorter and easy to handle, and our work is like this much more precise and pleasant. The visibility, so much frontal like side, is practically perfect. The acoustic isolation is extraordinary. The interior of the cabin is really silent”, explains Samuel Petitjean.
The cabin of the Series C is 7% wider that his predecessors, and the disposal has rediseñado to free 60 mm of space in the floor. The visibility has improved by means of the increase of the area of the surface of the ventanillas in 60%, creating a feeling of more space and light. The seat basculante and the air conditioned with numerous exits are of series to ensure the optimum comfort of the driver during all the day. The temperature controls inside the cabin, mounted on silent blocks to reduce the vibrations and the noise in the interior. In combination with the new controls easier to use and intuitive and the disposal again design, this new configuration offers some surroundings of work more comfortable for the operators.
