The system of hygiene modulate programmable Protect PSC is conceived mainly for his application in the systems of modern production and in complex machines and designed for the connection and the evaluation of several signals of hygiene, as for example: unemployments of emergency, control of resguardos, luminous curtains (AOPD) or sensors of the series CSS, MZM or

AZM 200 of Schmersal.

His modular character and therefore extremely flexible, offers to the user an optimum solution regarding costs for each task, without exits and unnecessary entrances.

Besides, the big quantity of terminals in an alone unit helps to save space in the box of connections.

The Protect PSC allows to reach a category of control 4 as IN 954-1, a level of performance “and” as IN 13 849-1 or a SIL 3 according to IEC 61 508, and offers likewise the possibility to process unrelated signals with the hygiene during the operation of the machinery. It is possible to establish the disconnection of all a zone if any type of programming, of similar way to a system of modules of hygiene of relays, only having in the corresponding order the modules in the rail of Top type Hat.

The Protect PSC offers a modular design and integration of signals of hygiene in conditions of operation, and his programming realises according to IEC 61 131 by means of interface and conventional USB.

In addition to the central unit, the system Protect PSC composes of the module

of feeding and the different modules of entrances and exits . The CPU can

activate until 15 modules, being possible to add later additional modules of entrances and exits when they are necessary and integrate them in the system without effort. All the modules can mount easily

in rails DIN and connect by means of a bus of back signpost.

In this way, the user can determine freely the extension of the system and

the number of entrances and available exits, from 8 entrances and 6 exits in

the simplest version until more than 250 entrances/ gone out with the system in his maximum extension. It offers interfaces for several runways for the exchange of data through Profibus DP, DeviceNet or link CC.
